The ecological
use will be compatible with its location and the goals
for Walton County’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan (WCCP p.28 (Objective
R-1.1 and Policy R-1.1.7). The
Nature Conservancy says there are 1,989 known species of native
plants making this one the most bio-diversified ‘hot spots’ in the
country. NW Fl harbors 23 federally endangered species and 13 federally
threatened species, old growth long leaf pine forests, healthy rivers,
bays and estuaries. Northwest Florida boasts one of the last wilderness
spaces in the state. BCRV pledges to use environmentally
friendly products at every opportunity. |
